Installing Adobe Creative Cloud on Windows 10 for Students

Please note: This is a temporary license provided by Adobe as an accommodation due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This free license accommodation is currently set to expire on May 31st, 2020 and can change at Adobe’s discretion. If this changes, we will make an announcement to the University community.

To install the Adobe Creative Cloud applications as a student at the University of Bridgeport during the COVID-19 Pandemic, please follow the following steps.

  1. Go to: https://creativecloud.adobe.com/ and use your email@ad.bridgeport.edu to sign in

1a. If you receive the following screen when logging in, please stop at this step and submit a helpdesk ticket by emailing helpdesk@bridgeport.edu and letting us know that you received the 400 error while logging into Adobe so that we can resolve this for you.

2. You should be directed to the University of Bridgeport Single Sign On (SSO) login screen. Enter your UBNetID (UB username) and password.

 

3. If you do not already have Adobe Creative Cloud app installed on your computer, please go to the Install Creative Cloud app link as shown below.

4. You will be presented with a screen that says permission may be required. Click OK.

5. Creative Cloud should then download and ask if you want to save the file. Click on Save File.

6.You will either see this download in your browser in the bottom left or have to find the download in the Downloads folder of your computer

7. You may be presented with a screen that says “Do you want to allow this ap to make changes to your device? If so, choose Yes. Then, find the Downloads folder and double click on the Creative_Cloud_Set_Up file and it will launch. Click Continue.

8. It may open a browser to authenticate your account, which you can then close. Open the running Creative Cloud Installer and click Start Installing

9. Creative Cloud will then install.

 

10. When the installation completes, you will see this screen. You can either take or skip the tour.

11. The Creative Cloud desktop app will become available.

12. Choose install for any application you need to install and you will see this screen:

13. When your software is installed you will see an Open button.

14. Your software will launch and you can get started creating!
