ACTS is incorporating a new spam blocker in Outlook to help you deal with your spam mail.

We will be pushing this directly to your computer, there is nothing that you need to do, but we want to let you know how to use it to mark messages as spam and help avoid spam messages in the future.

 

After the Barracuda plug-in is installed you will see a new tile in your outlook menu ribbon labeled “Barracuda Networks”.

 

When you receive a piece of Spam mail:

  1. Select the message from your email list.
  2. Click you can select the message the click the “Mark as Spam” option in the Barracuda Networks tile.

The message will then disappear from outlook. This process allows our Barracuda spam filter to more quickly identify future spam and block it.
