If you are an accepted student or newly hired faculty/staff, you may have received an email to set up your UBNet account.
Your UBNet account allows you to access all the online/on-campus technology services provided by the University of Bridgeport.
To Sign up for an account, visit https://www.bridgeport.edu/ubnet. Read the instructions and policy carefully and proceed with the sign up process.
The process usually takes up to 24 hours to complete and activate your account.
Test your credentials after 24 hours by logging into https://myub.bridgeport.edu
Common issues with the new account sign-up process
Cannot verify the details
If you are receiving a 'We cannot verify your details' message, it is most likely that you have just received an acceptance letter but the system has not been updated with your information yet. In this case, please wait for 24 hours and try again.
Cannot create your account
This message appears when your information is validated but cannot generate a unique username automatically. This can be caused due to the availability of a username with your name.
Contact helpdesk using the email below, so we can create a username for you.
